Title:                        Clinician, EAP Consultant

General Summary: The EAP Consultant is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with organizations contracted with F&CS for EAP services.  May help clients with concerns related to personnel issues, customer service concerns, employee referrals and workplace crises.  Clinicians are responsible for providing a broad range of mental health services to clients who may include: children, adolescents, college students, adults and geriatric clientele.  May help individuals deal with issues associated with mental illness, addictions and substance abuse; family, parenting, and marital problems; stress management; self-esteem; and aging.
 
Qualifications: The Clinician, EAP Consultant must possess a Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related mental health discipline that included a clinical field placement with supervision. The clinician must be eligible for a New York State license.  Prior experience working in an organization, with a deep understanding of organizational systems, concerns and challenges, is a must.
 
EAP Consultant Responsibilities include:

  • Providing consultation and assistance to contracted employers on personnel issues, customer service concerns, employee referrals and workplace crises; coordinates clinical response when emergency EAP situations arise.
  • Ensures for a robust EAP affiliate network.  Participates in EAP contract benefit fairs, as requested
  • In conjunction with the development department, will develop, maintain and, as needed, distribute, a library of content materials (ex. Coping with death, stress, etc.), a bi-annual EAP newsletter.
  • In conjunction with senior administration, ensures all contract renewals are processed and utilization reports are provided in a timely manner, manages engages potential new businesses in contract negotiations.
  • May be called upon to deliver customized on-site trainings/workshops
  • Maintains positive relationships with contracted employers
  • Ensures back-up EAP coverage is in place during times of absence
Clinician Responsibilities:
  • Provides clinical services – to a reduced caseload - including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, crisis intervention and ongoing treatment; Responds to a range of clients’ needs using differential diagnoses, appropriate treatment modalities, and a variety of intervention methods
  • Works collaboratively with other community agencies on behalf of clients and/or the agency
  • Participates in regularly scheduled clinical supervision, peer supervision, and staff meetings

Title:                                      Intake Worker

General Summary:
The Intake Worker responds to incoming requests for services by interviewing potential clients, documenting interviews, conducting needed follow up, assessing appropriateness of service, and scheduling initial client appointments.
 
Qualifications:     
The Intake Worker must possess a bachelor’s degree (masters preferred).  Human service experience strongly preferred. The Intake Worker must have excellent skills in the following areas: oral and written communication, computer, interpersonal relationships, organization, and problem solving.
 
Responsibilities:

  • Responds to intake calls in a timely manner.  Conducts intake interview using agency intake questionnaire.  and/or provides caller with information and referral to other community resources.
  • Documents phone interview and other client communication in agency electronic health record and practice management system.
  • Assesses whether F&CS can meet request for services.  Follows up with community providers as needed and communicates outcome to caller.
  • Schedules appointments for client. 
  • Gives clients information on EAP services and when appropriate refers to affiliates.
  • Consults with supervisor or Director of Clinical Services as questions or emergencies arise.
  • Communicates and coordinates effectively on behalf of clients with reception, billing, clinical and program staff throughout agency.
  • Maintains intake records, spread sheets, databases, resource files and department statistics.
  • Maintains confidentiality on all client and employee information.

General Summary:
Clinicians provide high-quality, confidential, and affordable counseling services in a welcoming and caring atmosphere for children, preschool age through adolescence, and their families. They address a wide range of emotional, behavioral and/or relationship problems. Our outpatient clinic is licensed by the NY State Office of Mental Health and is National Health Service Corps (NHSC) certified.
 
Qualifications:     
The clinician must possess a Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related mental health discipline that included a clinical field placement with supervision. The clinician must be eligible for a New York State license.  The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, adolescents and their families as well as 2 plus years of post-graduate experience.  The candidate must demonstrate an ability to build rapport with clientele who are diverse in their race, culture, religion, economic resources, sexual orientation, gender identity, and abilities. 

Responsibilities:

  • Provides clinical services including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, crisis intervention and ongoing treatment.
  • Responds to a range of clients’ needs using differential diagnoses, appropriate treatment modalities, and a variety of intervention methods.
  • Demonstrates understanding of sound ethical practice in conjunction with the established and defined ethics of one’s training and discipline.
  • Collaborates effectively with agency staff on behalf of clients.
  • Works collaboratively with other community agencies on behalf of clients and/or the agency.
  • Participates in regularly scheduled clinical supervision, peer supervision, and staff meetings.
  • Maintains clinical records in accordance with insurance regulations and established clinic policies and procedures and in timely compliance with agency policies and procedures.
  • Complies with clinical productivity standards as established by Director of Clinical Services.
  • Effectively organizes time and responsibilities.
  • Maintains availability for after-hours telephone contact for clients in crisis.
  • Participates in rotating backup clinical support via on-call phone rotation schedule.
  • Assumes all responsibilities of a mandated reporter.

Title:                  Senior Relationship and Development Director

General Summary: The Senior Relationship and Development Director is responsible to develop, cultivate, strengthen and maintain relationships F&CS has in the community with board members (current and past), volunteers, donors, funders, the media and other community partners and stakeholders. The Senior Relationship and Development Director develops F&CS’s fundraising plan and is responsible for achieving F&CS’s annual fundraising goals; the fundraising goals are accomplished through annual fund giving, major gifts, grant writing, events, corporate sponsorships and planned giving. 

Qualifications: The ideal candidate is results driven, detail focused, organized, engaging, has strong ties to the local community with proven experience effectively managing board and volunteer relationships, and, cultivating new and existing donor relationships.  At least seven years of proven fundraising experience with additional experience in event planning and/or coordination is strongly preferred.  The Senior Relationship and Development Director must possess a Bachelor’s degree however a Master’s degree is preferred.

Position Responsibilities:
• Reports directly to the President and CEO and is a member of the agency’s leadership team
• Oversees the strategic coordination of individual solicitations and relationship cultivation
• Collaborates with Chief Executive and Board Development committee to ensure major donor relationships are being effectively managed and cultivated
• Collaborates with the Chief Executive in coordinating the Board Development and Nominating (and all event) committees
• Coordinates existing fund/ friend-raising events; makes recommendations for new fund/ friend-raising events
• Develops strategy for, and oversees implementation of, all corporate sponsorship solicitations
• Oversees the coordination of all fundraising mailings, which include but are not limited to donor appeals and gift acknowledgements, event save the dates and invitations
• Provides senior leadership over marketing and communications initiatives which include, but are not limited to: the annual report, agency newsletter, website content management, brochure and rack card design and distribution, social media strategy and press releases/op-eds; provides day-to-day supervision to marketing and communications staff
• Researches public and private grant opportunities and directs F&CS’s grant writing efforts
• Facilitates the orientation of all incoming board members; plans annual board retreat
• Oversees the accurate accounting of all unrestricted and restricted income, and its sources
• May be called upon to make program/ project presentations at community events
• Attends community events and external agency meetings as needed
