The 2019 Peace of Mind event will be held on Saturday, March 2, from 9 am to 1 pm at Ithaca High School. Early bird tickets are available until February 1! Register today for reduced pricing. We hope to see you there.
Peace of Mind is a half day of wellness that includes classes in yoga, tai-chi, and meditation, as well as opportunities to receive acupuncture and reiki. Registration to the event includes classes, treatments, refreshments, and more! The event is also a chance to fundraise and support the mission of Family & Children’s Service of Ithaca. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for scholarship and volunteer opportunities.
Peace of Mind is a fun, energizing, and educational community event. The event is open to the public and all skill levels–from first-timers to experienced yogis. During this day of wellness, nourish yourself with healing self-care and learn how to incorporate new health and mindfulness practices into your day-to-day life. Do this all while supporting the mission of Family & Children’s Service of Ithaca and connecting with other community members who care about community mental health.
You’ve come to the perfect place! Unless otherwise noted, all Peace of Mind classes are adapted for people of all experience levels, so beginners should feel comfortable trying any of the classes throughout the day.
100% of proceeds from the event go directly to the services provided to the community by Family & Children’s Service of Ithaca (F&CS). This funding will be directed toward programs like Open Doors, Community Outreach Worker Program, and many more. F&CS is committed to providing services to anyone in the community regardless of their ability to pay.
This is an all-levels event that is open to the public! There will be a class for every skill level and we will pace each class appropriately. This event is meant to be a fun and unique way to bring our community together that centers mindfulness and wellness. Of course, we encourage each individual to treat their bodies with ease.
Registration is now open. Early bird tickets are $30 until February 1 and then the prices will increase to $40. All proceeds from registration and fundraising go directly to support the mission of F&CS.
