Learn more about clinical best practices for screening and working with those affected by Domestic Violence from Maia Campbell, LMSW, Clinical Trauma Therapist, and Domestic Violence Educator Naomi Barry of the Advocacy Center of Tompkins County. Ask tough questions and challenge your own assumptions and practices when counseling domestic violence survivors, and navigating family dynamics when abuse is present. Learn more about local resources at the Advocacy Center, and how to make an appropriate referral when needed.
This workshop will be structured for one hour, but participants are welcome to stay after for some continued Q&A. 1 CEU credit is available for LCSWs, LMSWs, LMFTs, and LMHCs.
