Join important community conversations about mental health trends, challenges, and resources for our youth and their caregivers.

 

9:00 – 10:15 Panel Discussion: Listen to community members discuss their own experiences as youth with mental health struggles, navigating services and supports.

10:30 – 11:45 Community Café: Strengthening families/growing resilience for youth & the people who care for them. Cafe Conversations provide a framework for talking about issues that matter…and help to develop relationships that bridge differences and can lead to meaningful actions around a common cause. 1:00 – 2:00 Keynote talk from Deputy Commissioner of Mental Health: Harmony Ayers- Friedlander.

2:00 – 3:00 Book-talk with TCPL staff: Hear more about staff recommended books and media resources relating to mental health that can be found at our local community library.
