Adult Mental Health Services
Our clinical program offers high-quality, confidential, and affordable counseling services in a welcoming and caring atmosphere that meet the needs of single adults, couples, families and older adults.
Children’s Mental Health Services
As a parent or caregiver, you want what is best for your child, but it’s not always easy to know what type of support he or she needs. Family & Children’s Service is the place to turn when children’s problems seem overwhelming and too difficult to handle alone.
Student Counseling Services
Family and Children’s Service is committed to helping students meet the challenges of life during college, graduate and professional school by encouraging healthy personal choices and balanced perspectives.
F&CS offers psychiatric services to clients receiving therapy in our clinical program. We are fortunate to have a strong team of both Adult and Child Psychiatrists as well as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
Geriatric Mental Health & Caregiver Support Services
Trained specialists provide an array of mental health services to respond to the social, emotional, and psychological needs of older adults and their families. Our services are tailored to meet your unique needs and can help you or your loved one cope with acute psychiatric and behavioral symptoms.
Youth & Outreach Services Family & Children's offers Therapeutic Mentoring programs for youth, the Dispositional Alternatives Program (DAP) and the Rural Outreach Program (ROP), and outreach through Open Doors: Runaway and Homeless Youth Services. Caseworkers & interns work together to provide therapeutic family mentoring activities, recreation and social skill development, case management, and advocacy for youth and their families in Tompkins County.
We are currently seeking volunteer Host Homes. Read more about our Open Doors program and our need for safe, temporary shelter for the youth who have run away or are at risk of running away in Tompkins County. You can help!
Employee Assistance Program
Our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is contracted by participating area employers to provide a variety of services for both the employer and employee. The EAP is designed to strengthen and preserve workplace quality, safety and productivity.
