Annual Celebration 2024

Our keynote speaker is Lora Tsui, our Team Leader & Crisis Therapist for the Open Doors Program and her talk is titled “It Takes a Village”. Lora Tsui, originally from Chicago, has a background in college teaching in Communication, Writing, & Psychology. Following her Master of Arts Degree in Communication (BA in Psychology), she transitioned into mental health therapy, driven by her passion for guiding individuals towards mental wellness. Lora has been with F&CS for over a year, bringing invaluable tools and insights to the forefront. With 25 years of teaching experience, she has been eager to bridge the gap between academia and social service work. Now, as she prepares to take the stage as our keynote speaker, Lora is brimming with excitement to share her wealth of knowledge and expertise. She will touch on how her role requires a village both personally and professionally. For Lora, this moment represents a full-circle journey back to her roots in social service.
