Peace of Mind Event 2020, March 8th

Peace of Mind Event 2020, March 8th

Info

Peace of Mind is designed to be a fun, energizing, and educational community event that helps to connect us with alternate means of supporting our mental health.

The activities that are woven into the day are examples of wellness practices that serve as a strong complement to the mental health practices offered at F&CS. This year, we are offering Yoga, Movement, Pilates, Tai Chi, Reiki, and Acupuncture. This event highlights several different wellness practices used to support mental health, and allows a forum for individuals to try out a new activity that may be beneficial to them. Several of our clinicians opt to serve as teachers and practitioners for the event, emphasizing Family & Children’s focus on comprehensive mental health care.

This year registration for Peace of Mind will be by suggested donation. This will allow for anyone to participate regardless of ability to pay. Our suggested donation is $35.00, but participants are encouraged to pay what they can, and to set up a peer to peer fundraising page to help raise funds for F&CS. Your support allows for increased community participation and helps us to raise funds to provide compassionate, high quality, affordable mental health services

The event is open to the public and all skill levels—from first-timers to experienced practitioners. All you need is yourself, some comfy clothes, and a yoga mat!
