On March 26, 2021, Professor Donald Rakow, Associate Professor, School of Integrative Plant Science, Cornell University and co-author of the book: ‘Nature RX” presented on the extensive extensive research he has done into the specific ways in which nature experiences impact physiological systems in the body to contribute to overall well-being.

Rakow’s co-author of ‘Nature RX’, the late Greg Eells, was a former Board Member at Family & Children’s Service, and a steadfast advocate of mental health services in our community.
